Mr Curtis Berry Bites healthy dog treats

Mr Curtis proudly showing off his brand new Berry Bites

You already know Mr Curtis Crunchy Chicken Balls and Coconut & Venison Treats. These are our oven baked, healthy dog treats with no additives, gluten or grain. They are made from human grade ingredients and don’t have any nasty artificial attractants in them. So no doggo is tricked into eating them! And all this is also true for our brand new flavour: Berry Bites!

These new delicious treats include key ingredients like yoghurt, honey, elderberries, blueberries, hawthorn berries and rosehip. Making them delicious and a great healthy snack for your doggo!

The nutritional power of yoghurt

Yoghurt is one of Curtis’ favourite foods. It’s rich in probiotics, which support a healthy gut by promoting good bacteria. This can be particularly beneficial for dogs with sensitive stomachs or those prone to digestive issues. Yoghurt is also a good source of calcium, which is essential for strong bones and teeth.

The sweetness of honey

Honey is not only a natural sweetener but also boasts a host of health benefits. It’s known for its antibacterial and antifungal properties, which can help support your dog’s immune system. Honey is also a good source of antioxidants. A note if you are giving your dog honey: it should be used sparingly, especially for dogs prone to obesity or diabetes, due to its high sugar content.

Berry Boost: Elderberries, Blueberries, and Hawthorn Berries

Berries are a fantastic addition to dog treats due to their high levels of vitamins, antioxidants, and fibre.

  • Elderberries are particularly rich in vitamin C, which supports immune health, and they have anti-inflammatory properties. They’re also known for their ability to boost heart health and improve circulation.

  • Blueberries are another antioxidant powerhouse, packed with vitamins C and K as well as fibre. These tiny berries can help reduce inflammation, support brain health, and contribute to healthy skin and coat.

  • Hawthorn berries are often associated with cardiovascular health. They contain compounds that can strengthen heart function and improve blood circulation, making them particularly beneficial for older dogs or those with heart conditions.

The Healing Properties of Rosehip

Rosehip is a lesser-known ingredient, but it’s incredibly beneficial for dogs. It's a rich source of vitamin C and has anti-inflammatory properties that can be helpful in managing joint pain and arthritis. Rosehip also supports immune function and can contribute to a healthy, shiny coat.
